Transportation infrastructure

As early as 1994, Groupe Arno undertook the electrification of the Montréal–Deux-Montagnes commuter rail line, becoming the only Québec-based installer of catenary train electrification systems. Twenty-five years later, our team contributed to the REM project, installing the 25 kV cable and traction network, medium-voltage equipment, low-voltage and train control systems, as well as portions of the new 67-kilometer catenary system.

Our expertise also includes extensive tunnel work, such as during the Laval metro extension, where we installed guidingbars, electrical rooms, 25 kV distribution systems, communications systems, and train signaling and control systems. Our teams have also taken part in the refurbishment of auxiliary services on Montréal’s Blue Line.
