High-voltage transmission lines
For more than 30 years, Arno has been delivering high-voltage transmission line construction and refurbishment projects. We manage every phase of the work: access road construction, civil and foundation works, tower assembly and erection, conductor stringing and installation, and full site restoration in compliance with the industry’s most stringent environmental standards.
Our fleet of specialized equipment, such as pullers, tensioners, and a complete inventory of tools and sheaves, allows us to execute all types of transmission work ranging from 69 kV to 735 kV.
Among our major achievements are the Chamouchouane–BDI and La Romaine projects, where we built nearly 300 kilometers of new 735 kV transmission lines, as well as the Vignan–Templeton project, which involved the reconstruction of 25 kilometers of 120 kV lines in an urban environment.
We have also completed a wide range of line refurbishment projects, including insulator replacement, thermal uprating, conductor replacement, and structural reinforcement, covering the full scope of transmission line rehabilitation.
Our team of specialists and engineers develops safe, efficient, and innovative work methods. This recognized expertise has enabled us to carry out highly complex aerial crossings, including those over the St. Lawrence River in Trois-Rivières and the Canso Strait in Nova Scotia.
Choosing Arno means partnering with a team that is experienced, dependable, and deeply committed to professional excellence.
