High-voltage insulated cables

Arno completed its first high-voltage insulated cable installation project in 1985. Over the years, we have carried out numerous additional projects for both industrial clients (Alcan, Alcoa, Rio Tinto) and institutional clients (Hydro-Québec, Hydro One, and others).

Recent achievements include the supply, installation, and testing of 230 kV systems in downtown Toronto, specialized jointing services for Hydro-Québec, and the installation of a 400 kV underground transmission line to the state of New York.

We own all the specialized equipment and tooling required for cable installation in any environment, whether on supports, in trenches, in conduits, or in tunnels. In addition, Arno has recently trained a new cohort of certified jointers qualified to work on voltages up to 350 kV. Our services cover complete cable installation as well as joint and termination assembly, and we can also provide support during the design phase.
