Upgrade of the Waskaganish electrical grid

Description

ARNO, in partnership with the company Waska Resources joined forces to carry out the project of electrifying the distribution network in Waskaganish.  The technical expertise of ARNO was strongly solicited on this project, in particular by the training that we gave to the Cree workers.  This project consisted of building a 208 km high-voltage line linking the towns of Nemiscau and Waskaganish, as well as the construction of a substation at the entrance to the village of Waskaganish. The village's electricity grid, which was previously powered by generators, was completely redone to be fed by Hydro-Québec's network.
