Bersimis-2 power station

Completed as part of a joint venture, this project involved replacing the auxiliary and control systems of the Bersimis-2 generating station, as well as performing preparatory work for the replacement of the guard valves. Valued at nearly $55 million, the project posed numerous technical challenges due to the age of the facility and required close coordination among multiple trades working in confined and often overlapping spaces. Rigorous safety planning carried out in close collaboration with the client and plant operations staff, was the key to the project’s success.
